Abstract

Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is a linear programming technique whose main purpose is to compare and evaluate the performance of a number of similar decision makers with different inputs and outputs. The DEA models used to evaluate unit performance under investigation can use two distinct approaches: 1. Reduce inputs without altering outputs (input-driven approach) .2 Increase outputs without modifying inputs ( Output - driven approach).
