Abstract

Agility as a new strategy that ensures survival of organizations in encounter with accelerating changes and increasing uncertainty in business environment, has entered in management literature since the end of 1990s. On the other hand, Knowledge is rapidly becoming as a strategic resource for organizations, as theoreticians of management believe that knowledge in knowledge-centric economy is an important resource of competitive advantage and creating power and also essential principle for organizations with global desires. Thus, creating and retaining this resource has special importance. New knowledge is valuable when it is applied, and utilization of new knowledge means Innovation. In regard to the importance of knowledge in modern business, these questions arise that: what is the effect of knowledge creation on organizational agility? And how does this affect? So according to these questions, in this research we surveyed the relationship between Knowledge Creation, Technological Innovation and Organizational Agility. The results show that knowledge creation has positive impact on organizational agility and technological innovation is one of ways that new created knowledge affects organizational agility.
